The hotel is very close to Surbiton train station and convenient for visiting Sandown racecourse. The rooms are spacious, with a surprising extra large bed and uniquely marked bed sheets. The service, especially from the shortish waiter at breakfast with dark hair and the housekeeping team, is exceptional. The dining experience includes delicious cured meat, and the facilities are top-notch. However, the price may not align perfectly with the value received.

I had a pleasant surprise finding a room with a marked bed sheet, an extra-large bed, and a relaxing bath, but there were some ups and downs during my stay. The waiter with dark hair at breakfast was short but very friendly, and the housekeeping service was excellent. The location was unbeatable, right opposite the train station in the center of Kingston upon Thames, ideal for getting around easily. Dining, while included, served delicious grilled steaks. Overall, a mixed experience with great amenities and a few improvements needed.

The hotel sits in a very good location in the heart of Kingston upon Thames, making it easy to access excellent transport links and everything the area has to offer. The rooms surprised me with an extra large bed and a bath, but the marked bed sheet was a nice touch. However, the dining experience with included porridge left something to be desired.
